Stoneage under the able & dynamic leadership of the founder Mr Mahesh J Bhat entered into a Joint Venture with Smalticeram of Italy to provide products for the ceramic industry in India. The Joint venture set up in the year 2015 is known as Smalticeram India Pvt. Ltd.
A state of the art, automated, technically well-staffed unit has been set up in Morbi Gujarat which is being supported & trained by the Italian technical personnel of Smalticeram to cater to the unique demands of the Indian ceramic Industry.
Smalticeram founded in 1970 is now one of the most important Italian ceramic glaze and color producers with branches in Spain,USA, Brazil ,India & Indonesia . Smalticeram is a global market leader in the production of frits,glazes,colors,pigments & inks for the ceramic industry .Smalticeram brings with it years of accumulated experience of catering to the special & most important needs of the Ceramic Industry.
Smalticeram is capable of meeting all the challenges posed by everchanging demands of the Ceramic Industry as Smalticeram has an ongoing R&D set up through which it daily updates its product range through an operating system suitable for all types of production from traditional double firing to the modern porcelain stoneware.
Vitreous complexes (glass frits) with different fusibility, preparation bases and coating glazes ,coloring oxides for all needs ,special grits for dry and wet applications ,atomised glazes for technical stoneware ,color inks & special inks for the latest generation inkjet technologies are available throughthe manufacturing facilites of Smalticeram.

Dr Thirumurugan is also noted for his wide connections within the ceramic fraternity in India & Abroad by virtue of being involved actively in a number of Ceramic Organisations both in India & abroad.
Glorex with its mining resources and technically proficient manpower with vast experience of operating mines & mining processes has been a pioneer in fulfilling the requirements of the Ceramic Industry.
